Please take the time to read what they found out!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV1984) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Tom, here’s what I see in you:
Tom, here’s what I see in you:
- Patience, ready to explain to anyone in as much detail as they need, as long as it may take, so that they can understand what you’re telling them.
- Kindness, I’ve never known you to turn away from anyone when you could help them in any way.
- I don’t see you as boastful nor proud, although I have seen others come against you with false accusation of this.
- You are not rude, but straight to the point, never mincing words or telling someone just what they wish to hear. This is actually refreshing in this world of ‘political correctness.’
- You’ve never been self-seeking as long as I have known you, but always wanting to share what you know, to the glory of God.
- You are not easily angered, nor keep record of wrongs or hold grudges, no matter how many times you’ve been wronged.
- You do not delight in evil, but hold the truth in high esteem, always rejoicing in it.
- You are protective of sound doctrine, trusting and hoping in the Word, and persevering in many difficult circumstances.
- You fit the Biblical definition of love, as you reach out to the lost with the Gospel, and equip the saints to share their faith with others. I have not met anyone who truly lives their faith as much as you do.
- You are an inspiration for me to be more obedient to the Lord, and it’s an honor to work with you in training other believers and witnessing to people on a regular basis.

this evangelism class was really helpful for me, especially since tom was the leader. He knows how to explain everything in detail, and how to explain something in a way that everyone can understand it. You are so patient and kind to everyone, even if it's difficult to be patient at times. thank you for teaching me how to evangelize better and being a good leader. MaKayla G.
Tom here's mine. I'm thankful that my daughter, MaKayla, was able to send hers. I have been going out on the streets to share the Gospel on a regular basis for about ten years now, after going to my first WOTM class in October of 2005. Since then, I have helped teach numerous classes at different places, completed the Online School of Biblical Evangelism, and continue to share using this method. Having broken my leg, I haven't been out on Mill Ave for a while, and thought I could use a refresher course, along with my daughters (ages 10 & 13), who have both been very interested in evangelism, understanding the Great Commission and the fact that without Jesus Christ, people will end up in eternal hell. I've found that it's good to continue learning, since different things tend to stand out at different times, as we continue to learn and grow. Thank you for your perseverance in continuing to make these classes available to equip the saints in carrying out the Great Commission. AL G.

Hi Tom,
My son Joey and I attended your WOTM Seminar on Jan 30, 2016. This is our third time. I was glad to be able to attend for a few reasons. First, it is always good to have a refresher on a method that actually convicts the lost and brings the knowledge of sin – something modern evangelism too often fails to do. The Law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul (Psalm 19:7), so in my opinion using the Law is the primary way of helping people see the seriousness of their sin, something you cover extensively in your seminar. I also love the video format, as my son tends to be more of a visual learner and so the details stay with him more because of the videos you use.
I also love the urgency you have to share the Gospel with the lost wherever you go, and that translates well into what you teach. You truly live what you believe, and it is obvious that you don’t want anyone to end up in hell. It reminds me that I need to have more of a concern for the eternal destiny of others as well, because I can easily get caught up in work and the day-to-day stuff that tends to take up so much of my time. You help me to remember that people won’t hear the Gospel unless I make time to share it with them.
God bless,
Patrick, M.

Tom, Out of the seminars I received the 3F's of "Christianity" fellowship, friendship, and food yet not always in that order. The most important thing however is learning how to share the Gospel and to be able to and to do it even when I don't feel like it much like the son in Matthew 21:28 - 32
I find the more obedient I am the more desire I have to be obedient,Thank you Jesus!

Hi Tom!
Prior to attending the seminar, I had wanted to approach people with the gospel but could not think of ways to come up to them or what to say. After which though, I now have a set idea and guidelines on approaching and talking to them, and I am very thankful :).
Thank you,
Jessie C.

Tom,
I have a hard time putting into words just how much the Way of the Master class helped me to share the Gospel with folks. I had been trying to learn ways to talk with people, or to at least know how to explain the faith when asked about it, but I continuously felt that I was coming up dry. Attending the class taught me how to talk with people while remaining focused on the Gospel and keep going back to the Truth rather than entertaining distracting and endless arguments.
Additionally, I would like to mention how valuable I found actually attending your class.
I had watched some of Ray Comfort's videos before via his website, but having never attended any sort of class, I wasn't too sure how to start using the method. I'm so thankful for the videos you showed us, stories you shared, and real experience and help which you gave us. I was particularly thankful that, when we went out on Mill, we weren't ever alone. One of the biggest problems which I had prior to this class was an issue of confidence, worrying that either I would be presented with an argument I wouldn't be able to handle, or that there would be found by myself and unable to walk away without harming the effort to share the Gospel. Because we weren't ever by ourselves, I didn't have to worry so much about this - certainly, I did mess up (far more than once), but there was always someone there to back me up or give correction and advice. What a blessing!
Tom, thank you so much for hosting this class. Thank you to Cactus Community Church for providing the space for your classes, and thank you to anyone in the community and family of Christ who blesses the group with support. I think that this class is incredibly important - not only do people hear the Gospel, but we learn to share the Gospel with love through conviction.
Thank you so much for all of your hard work! God bless!

Hi Tom, Thank you for asking! I have really several reasons for going more than once.
1. For me personally I haven't been able to go to a full conference so i get a little bit here and a little bit there.
2. I forget! My memory aint what it used to be! ;)
3. Free Food!
4. Encouragement, seeing my fellow brethren excited about the things of the Lord helps me to be motivated to be bold. I also receive such great joy in encouraging and support you all in this.
5. As i experience the act of witnessing to others i gain wisdom and knowledge in what is helpful. So repeating the seminars allows me to have deeper insight into what i have experienced in going myself and see and understand things i haven't seen before.
Case in point: I regularly watch you tube videos on street preaching and witnessing as well as the seminars. I listen to the different questions and soak in what i can. When on the street i am constantly amazed at how the Holy Spirit brings up conversations i have studied or heard on YouTube or in the seminars that perfectly fit a conversation i am engaged in. This last Friday i was speaking to an atheist and evolutionist and the Holy Spirit impressed upon my memory a conversation Ray Comfort had with a young man in regards to evolution. I was able to efficiently and effectively declare the glory of God in creation with this young man who doubted God even existed! By the time we were done i know beyond a doubt that the truth of God was evident to him and am praying that any seeds planted would be allowed to grow.
We are fishing farmers! We fish, we plant, we till the soil, we remove stones, we water, we care for the plants, we chase off the birds, we protect the soil. I want to use and understand the best tools around to tell of all God's wonders. God uses the knowledge given to us to apply to real life for His glory and our good. Did you know that Jesus and ALL his disciples were street preachers? Including Timothy!
[Isa 41:9-10 NASB] 9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its remotest parts And said to you, 'You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. 10 'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
Let us stop being afraid for fear is not from God and is unbelief and sin! Will we stand firm against the tide of unrighteousness? Does the Church yet realize that all this wickedness is because of us? We do not trust we do not resist we do not courageously fight. We don't believe God is with us. We don't trust Him at His word. Let's take a look at popular scripture.
[2Ch 7:13-15 NASB] 13 "If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 "Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.
I exhort all reading this including myself to humble ourselves, repent, seek the Face of the Living God. We are the problem here in America. In Jesus Name may we ACT by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and my gospel which is the power of God unto Salvation!
Be Salt and Light! That which stings but brings healing, that which hurts but removes darkness!!
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

This class has been encouraging. It is a practical and easy way to share your faith. I really enjoy it because, the way we approach people it allows them to talk about themselves so it really takes the pressure off. I think it's really beneficial, some really good seeds are being planted while were out there! This witnessing tool causes people to think about what they're doing and ultimately God and Jesus Christ! -- John 17:3 Robert, S. |

Tom, let’s just say, it made a great difference attending this seminar twice. Right from the beginning it didn’t feel like it was being crammed into a persons way of getting closer to the Lord. Before I give the pros & cons about this great meeting I would like to say that this gathering was enjoyable to me as a member of Cactus Christian Fellowship. That long day was a learning experience with no pressure!
To start this off, I very much enjoyed when we had to stand each time a person had the floor. If a person believes in evolution, then basically do what you do as that type of believer. But if you are a true Christian then the 10 Commandments are the Laws that God wants you to live by.
Jesus died and resurrected for our sins. No question! How perfect God made things in this universe. Everything that was discussed was shown that it was Biblical, not what anyone thought, when answered. It was a God proven one!
I especially love the part when Tom made it very clear that before I can preach LOVE, MERCY &, GRACE, which is quite easy when speaking about my Father, I must preach SIN, LAW, and JUDGEMENT first.
The saying “We catch him and He (God) cleans em! ” I love that phrase because this lets you know that we don’t have far to go. We have to stay focused on our Lord and Savior. Along with this Biblical info, through Christ – No, sin stored without Jesus you won’t make it to heaven. This seminar was an ongoing Biblical heart and mind absorbing conference extravaganza. The key verses on how to be fishers of men were something that we all need to keep in mind on our journey as Christians.
The Commandments in the law that we are supposed to live by and you break one law out of the Commandments the law will chase you down. Also the Law is good when used for sinners like everyone on Earth. You stand with the Prophets and the Prophesies, that is the way you actually prove to people the reality of the Bible. “The Bible is Self Provable”
“OK”, Tom as a conclusion, I want to add one more comment toward this training and definite blessing of the way to enhance any ones way to come closer to Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Almighty “God”
From the first seminar to the second, the Lord is giving you as a Christian the ability to direct and lead His information of the way he wants us to live. God wanted me to go to your seminar the second time and that alone made me feel more blessed than anything. Confrontation, Repentance and Speaking to others in the way of Repetition, in other words practice it, is truly the mother of learning.
The hardest part is making that commitment, but it’s so true!
I wrote down those (7, 4, 3) words you spoke of so that we would never have an argument with anyone. In other words don;;t defend yourself when someone says something about you
(7) Is that what you see in me? (I’m asking them to validate what they said)
(4) Is there anything else? (Again allowing them to say what they feel)
(3) Is there more? (This is the tough one to ask , as it can be brutal)
When they are finished I humble ask them if they would pray for me that the Lord would take, (whatever they saw in me , away from me)
By using this principle, I have allowed them to tell me their opinion, without having to get offended... The more you think about this it is true.
In closing, a Christian needs this Biblical learning, reminders, from time to time.
Thanks Tom, but most of all Thank God!

Brother Tom
I absolutely loved the seminar and got a really good idea and feel that has given me a bit of comfort, verses fear to approach people and have practiced the technique on some people I know, not any strangers yet. I have not perfected it but am further in the direction of evangelizing than I was prior to attending the conference and will at some point be back to visit.
I have started a new job that conflicts with the first Friday of the month but will be back to see in the near future.
Thank you Tom for having me and don't change what you’re doing because you’re on the right track. I love you guys and I’ll keep you in my prayers.
God bless, your brother in Christ

Tom,
I really appreciate the Way of the Master Seminar. Even though I knew I was saved, I always felt God wanted more from me. I was afraid I would be "left behind" in the Rapture. This seminar opened my eyes to what God requires of us as stated in the Bible. I now realize that Jesus said we are all disciples and are to "go out and spread the Good News". I highly recommend this seminar to every Christian that wants to obey Jesus' command.
Yours in Christ,
Judy C.

An encounter on the bus - yesterday morning. I sat by a lady reading a seed catalog. As I garden I asked her what she wanted to plant. We talked a bit. I took out the bill with the small type on the back and looked at it. She commented and I said someone gave me several yesterday. You can have this one if you want. I said there is a secret coded message on the back. The decoder is a magnifying glass. I said I hadn't read it yet (true) because the type was too small. She pulls out her glasses and reads it. I ask what does it say? She then tells me thanks me for the bill and puts it in her purse. Thrn we talk about Hawaii as she tells me she's from there and I am going there Oct 30 That's my first bill experience.
Later in went to an ATM to make a deposit and left a bill on the ATM. Yeah it's a bit cowardly but you have to start
somewhere

03/23/2013To all who aren't sure,
I have always stood firm in my faith when asked or confronted about what I believe. I've always felt in my heart for those who don't know the Savior. But neither of those could get me past the fear of turning the focus on to others and their spiritual condition and what would be the result of that condition. Fear of what? The unknown, so it changed depending on circumstances. I had some fear of taking the class because I knew that once I did I couldn't us the excuse "I don't know what to say or I don't know how to go about it". But with the Lord's strength I overcame that fear and took the class. As Tom conducted the seminar using many personal examples to go along with "The way of the Master" videos, all backed by solid biblical scripture, I began to feel more confident, the fear quieted. Of course, the enemy wanted nothing of that so towards the end he hit me with "you know their going to ask you to join them on the street tonight! How are you going to get out of that?" The fear was back but the power of the Holy Spirit was also there in me. When Tom asked who would like to join him tonight, my hand went up! The fear, it was still there, as it was when we got on the street. But as we grouped together in the middle of the sidewalk and prayed the fear got smaller and with every track I handed out it grew smaller to the point that, I don't know when, the fear was gone. I'm sure it will attempt to come back and prevent me from witnessing to the lost but with what the seminar taught me can not be taken away. Through God's strength I will return, not just to the street, but in everyday life and with each victory I will continue to do as my Lord has commanded all of us and that is to spread the message that everyone falls short of the glory of God and the punishment is hell but by the grace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord we can repent and trust Him for salvation. I Thank Tom, Al and all those who came along side of me as the Lord moved me into a stronger relationship with Him. Thanks you for "The way of the Master" Dean, G |

Tom,
First I want to thank you for hosting and teaching this amazing class! Before attending your class I was familiar with the WOTM via a radio show called Wretched Radio. The host, Todd Friel, used to do the same show when it was called WOTM. I would listen to the show witch included dozens upon dozens of interviews where Todd would use the WOTM approach. I was always intrigued and excited with this style as I felt that it was very Biblical and very effective at bringing the lost to recognize their sin problem. I wanted to use this method but wasn't sure how I would do it. I started praying about it and asking God to provide a way that I could, one, use the method, and two, be bold enough to use it. About two weeks after I started praying, I got a call from a friend (Dan) who said, "hey, you ever heard of the WOTM?" I was floored at the clear answer to my prayers. I immediately joined your group out on Mill Ave. After a couple weeks I then attended the class. Even though I had heard it put to use many times, and even used it myself a few times, there was still much to gain. The class you taught provided much more information and guidance on how to use the approach. The videos were great. The lesson and discussion were very beneficial, and hearing from those who have done it for a while was also a great way to explore what works and what doesn't. I would encourage anyone who is looking to share the Gospel to consider this class! Again, Tom, thank you for your obedience to what God has called for us all to do! Mike, A. |
10/27/2012tom,
I really appreciated all of the Scripture that was referenced in supporting the need to present the Law as a means of pointing out our sinfulness and need for a Savior. I found the video on the issue of a false conversion sobering, convicting and helpful, as it practically presented the signs of a false conversion. We all need to do a better job of speaking the truth in love when presented with "fruit not consistent with repentance." I believe that encouraging all in attendance to participate as "active observers" is a most important component. I was convicted by the intentional love demonstrated to the lost by those on your team. Specifically, I noted that you so kindly passed out tracks with sincere enthusiasm to those walking by and you did not display any resentment toward those who rudely displayed their verbal and non-verbal disgust for the Lord. On two or three occasions I watched you as a crowd of people were drawn to you as you shared the Good Person Test with people while standing on the large sidewalk planter. You showed godly discernment as you needed to quickly determine whom were possible hearers of the Word and whom were antagonists portraying themselves as interested persons. You showed real concern for those taking the test and were patient with them when they needed to ponder a question or rethink their response based on your follow- up questions. In the face of occasional hecklers, you politely continued your focus on the person you were engaging and did not become distracted. I believe it to be best stated that you were modeling walking in the Spirit. Thank you and your team for putting on the seminar. I look forward to working with you in the future to hone my own skill in this area. so that I might do a better job daily reaching the lost. For His glory, Nick D. Pastor of Small Groups |
Benjamin, P. 10/27/2012Hi Tom! I wrote a quick note on your website a couple weeks ago but wanted to follow up via email as well, as you requested. I did enjoy the seminar and the Way of the Master teaching. Two specific things jumped out at me as I recall the teaching....Really one through two mediums: The young man's testimony on how our heart must be washed and cleansed and confessed and the 2nd(?) video on true and false confession. These caused me to reflect on my christian walk...
Am I a true or false Christian?....I recalled Paul's teaching in Corinthians and Philippians that a man must examine himself and work out his salvation with fear and trembling. Being a Christian is no light, flippant, cavalier thing! Eternity hangs on it. Life and Death. I asked myself hard question like; What fruit have I bore? Am I fighting and abhorring what is evil in my heart or am I deceived into thinking that I am ok? Do I joyfully concur with the Law in the inner man? Or am I in rebellion against the teaching of God? Do I submit to His authority? Even so much as He commands me to submit to governments, my pastor, my boss? Am I filled with joy in edifying and encouraging my brethren? Do I desire the Word of God? Am I a white washed tomb filled with bitterness and death but washed and clean for Church and for those who make me feel better? Praise God for His mercy! O how I fall short in so many of these questions! God forgive me a sinner and wretch, wash me and cleanse me and pray for me as I don't even know what to pray for!! O be Faithful, O God, to wash and cleanse me from ALL unrighteousness every day! Blessed Be Your Name!! Tom, I praise God for you and your ministry! Be strong and courageous and persevere in doing good! He who overcomes and is faithful until death will be given the crown of life! I am unable to make Saturday nights but God willing, will be there 1st fridays. I love you Brother, In Christ, Benjamin P. |
Tony & Lorna C. 10/27/2012Ok Tom, Here is what Lorna and I collectively got from your
Seminar; First, we both want to thank you for sacrificing your time and resources to teach others how to share the gospel. My wife Lorna and I have purchased the Way of the Master evangelism training course a few years ago, and have used the techniques numerous times to share the gospel. We are strongly convicted that the course has been very effective on numerous occasions. Your training course re-awoke our passion and created a stronger awareness of our mandate to reach out and share the gospel to ALL people! Your course has also proven to us that practice-practice-practice makes perfect! We learned that our previous use of the W.O.M. techniques were far from refined, and your course has opened our eyes and better equipped us to be much more effective in sharing such important information. You have definitely renewed our motivation to practice and share more! Lastly, we were very blessed to meet those whom you have equipped and even more blessed to go and reach out to the lost with all of you afterward. You and the guys showed great passion and bravery in Sharing the gospel in areas that most professing believers would avoid. The training course and your heart for the lost will have a great effect in the Kingdom! Tony & Lorna C. |
Bill L. 10/27/2012Hi Tom, just wanted to thank you for inviting me to the way of the Master
seminar Saturday and the opportunity to go out with you and the other seed sowers that evening, it was the first time that I have ever gone out in public to intentionally give the Gospel, and experience I will never forget. Let me tell you a few of the things I learned Saturday. I learned there are very few churches that teach there members how to give the Gospel. I learned very few Christians give the Gospel when they go about there daily lives to a lost and perishing world. I learned that there are tools and seminars that we can use to teach us how to give the gospel but pastors and churches don't want to use them for various reasons that I personally can't understand. I learned that the way of the master method is what I thought it might mean. the Master meaning Jesus and His ways of teaching us. I learned that Gods law is written on our hearts and that we can use that fact to our advantage when we are trying to lead people to Christ. I learned there are multitude of really cool tools Gospel Tracts that we can use to reach out to the lost. I learned how important it is to purposely give the Good news of Jesus Christ and that every opportunity that we have we should use it. I learned how convicted I felt when I was driving home Saturday night that I have not been doing what my Lord and Savior has commanded me.these are just a few of the things that I learned.Oh one more I learned. I learned I am a Nobody that can share with Anybody about Somebody that can save Everybody. I am planning on going out with you again this weekend if the Lord permits Thank You for teaching me the Way of the Master Bill L. |

Doug J. - 4/24/2010Thom, thank you so much for the Way of the Master Seminar. That was a true breath of refreshment. I came to one of your seminars two years ago but this time it seemed very different. Two years ago was like an acclimation to the program in discovering what it was about. I knew much of what to expect this time, but so much was new in what was taught and said. In all honesty (I know you said not to say that but what the heck), I felt such a greater power to be able to get involved this time.
Two years ago I felt like it was next to impossible to do what you do but I felt this time a much greater power of confidence. I learned so much in the seminar in watching the videos and asking questions and listening to you talk and share. Saturday night in Tempe I felt a supernatural empowerment as I tried to do as Tom said and get in front of my fear so that my fear would be behind me and then I could stop focusing on my fear and focus on the challenge that God was putting in front of me. This time I was able to approach people and hand out tracts and attempt to engage people in conversation. I even started to have a lot of fun with it. What a feeling of service to Jesus that I felt. Watching Thom and Al at work talking to people was a real learning experience. I feel like I still have a ways to go to learn to interact like Thom or Al but what I took away from the experience was a belief that I really can learn to witness to the lost and reach out to people in the true perspective of what Jesus taught and did on the Cross for us all. I feel there are so very many people who are just waiting for me to reach. Also seeing Jean in action who is a fairly new participant to the program was very inspiring as I got to see how far she has come along in witnessing. I could see she had a bit of a struggle but I also saw the growing bravery and the process if you will of how a person can learn to get involved and reach out to people. I am so very much looking forward to learning and growing more in the program as I feel there is no better service I could be to Jesus than to reach out to people who are perishing. Thanks again with the greatest of sincerity. Doug Johnsen Andres - 10/24/2009Thanks so much for allowing me to see what you do and how you do it. Thanks for sharing your thought, ideas and being an open person about some things that have happened to you. Thanks for your guidance, encouragement, and leadership.
God Bless. Andres |
Johnsen D. - 6/5/2010Thanks Thom. The seminar was truly enriching. I felt I did get more out of it. I caught a few things that perhaps I did not catch so much before. As state, “repetition is the mother of learning.” I do feel that every time I repeat something I do get more out of it. I know the experts say that we only retain a certain percentage of what we learn. I feel that the more I repeat something I do get some new things out of it each time. I feel this time I gained a greater understanding of the Way of the Master program and a greater retention of what to say to people and how to say it. As it seems to me that Satan has been working very hard in America in recent years and worldwide as well, to take the Ten Commandments away from people and get them to forget about them. Why I ask of God is this and I feel much in my spirit that this is very much what has been missing in today’s evangelism and witnessing to people. God is saving a special blessing to anyone who will learn the Ten Commandments and teach them to others in showing the importance of realizing the dangers and harm of sin. Jesus himself so often spoke of the dangers of sin, such as when he healed the paralyzed man at the pool of Siloam and later found the man and told him to go and sin no more or worse things may happen to him. Marcus kept trying to get me up with the mic and talk of the Ten Commandments which I have now committed to memory and in order. I almost got up but still chickened out.
I believe next time I will be ready. I really feel God moving in me in The Way of the Master way. I did finally speak for the first time with a girl who stopped to see what I had to say. I did take her thru the good person test and she admitted she was a liar, a thief, and adulterer in her heart and a blasphemer. She even said she has probably broken about all the commandments, except murder although she admitted to hating in her heart. I thought I did pretty well, but I have been practicing a lot about taking people thru the good person test and when she became so easy in that and she said that she has accepted Jesus into her heart and she is redeemed I am afraid I got stumped about where to go after that. I can at least see even more now how I need to work on learning to use scripture to witness more in depth as she seemed to believe that her sins were covered by the blood of Jesus therefore her sins were no big deal anymore. Anyway I feel I am growing and learning and look very forward to getting involved all the more with the program. I look forward to next Saturday in Tempe. I don't know if I am supposed to but I am having a lot of fun with this. I so much want to help others and Mill Ave seems to show lots of opportunities. I even went out to IHOP at 1 am with Marcus, Walter and Tiffany I think her name was, and had some good fellowship with them. Thanks again so much Thom for your passion to be involved and serve the Lord as you do. God Bless, Doug Christa J. - 1/23/2010Tom,
I want to say thanks again for everything you've done. It was such a learning experience for me. I will never forget my first time out there. I will for sure do it again... Have a blessed week, Christa James A. - 1/23/2010I enjoyed Tom, nice job.
Jean D. - 1/23/2010Dear Tom and Catherine,
I would like to take the time to thank you for the privilege for me and my kids to attend your class. I learned even more this time and the love you and Catherine have for people is amazing. I am so glad I came and want to continue to learn so that the Lord will be able to use me. Thank you also for the Gospel tracks and the handout on How to Witness. Also for the food!! Thanks so much. Your website is great!! Also are you going out tonight? I would like to go but want to meet where you park. Thanks so much, Jean, Josh & Ariel Kevin & Vivi - 1/23/2010
Hello
Tom: My fiancée Vivi and I had an excellent time at the seminar, and an even better time witnessing with you at Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona. Not only was the seminar a great source of instruction, encouragement, and strength, but also a wonderful time of fellowship; there was a genuine care, unity, and love between these believers. More precisely, I felt like I was really a part of a Body of believers (Church) which was ready to do the real work which its Head (Jesus Christ) has commanded to be done. Your teachings on evangelism were biblical and easy to understand. I also appreciate your other teachings, like: how not to argue; how to internalize a truth to better remember it and apply it; and how to stay honest while being loving. I really appreciate this service which you offer, and I pray that God blesses your ministry to bring many people to find faith in God. Amen. We love you and hope to see you again soon. In Christ: Kevin and Vivi. |
Jeff, Mary, Hannah, and Petra - 8/26/2009
We’ve taken EE and XEE and found this presentation of the gospel and accompanying materials to be superior.
Jason W. - 10/15/2008I found the Way of the Master one-day seminar a great introduction into evangelism and why using God's law to show the sinfulness of man brings true repentance and dependence upon the saving work of Jesus Christ. This seminar explains why our evangelism efforts must recognize that God's law is perfect and converts the soul! Get over your fears and start spreading the Good News!"

Christa J. - 10/24/2009Tom, when I first heard about The Way of the Master Method I was a little hesitant because I tend to be very reserved, especially to people I don't know. As I've grown with the Lord, He has given me compassion for people that I've never had before. My problem was that I couldn't find the "right" time and that I was too fearful of what they might say/think of me.
As I watched the video’s it really struck me how many people thought they were going to heaven just because they believe they're a good person. So many people are deceived and NEED the truth told to them. I realized that I can't ultimately change these lost souls, but I need to do my part as a Christian to spread the love of Jesus Christ. This series has made me more knowledgeable in how to teach others about The 10 Commandments and how God is not only a God of love, but a God of justice. We all need to ask our Heavenly Father for forgiveness of our sins and make Him our guide in everything we do. These tracts are perfect icebreakers that really enforce individuals to think about the ultimate question: Am I good enough to go to Heaven? After watching Kirk Cameron, Ray Comfort, and you talk to random people on the street I could see how they were really pondering their status with God and very thankful for taking the time to reach out to them. That would be so awesome if I could also be that person to lead someone to Jesus. TWOTM has changed my life in recognizing the value of people’s salvation and giving me the confidence to lead them to ultimate fulfillment. Thank you for all that you do in glorifying our Lord. Sincerely, Christa |
Ashly F. - 8/26/2007We thoroughly enjoyed the gathering of the brothers and sisters in Christ learning how to more boldly share our faith.
Sunday night and I'm still motivated! I feel that God is showing me how I can do more to directly impact the lost world. I enjoy church and contributing at church. But as Christians we need to do more that so continue to improve our "compound." We need to take more ground! I loved your shirt which said something along the lines of "No more retreats. Move out." That statement couldn't be more true! Nightly before bed Jamie and I pray together, or should I say that I pray and Jamie is the silent prayer. Last night and tonight I was talking out loud to God, during our prayers, that I want to become a "seed sewer" too. We know that is God's will, to be a seed sewer, and when we pray according to God's will it comes to pass. Tom, for the longest time I have been wondering why Christendom seems to be...lacking any spiritual fervor. I've been wondering for 10-15-20 years. My journey with God trying to find an answer has led me to believe that the Hold Spirit is grieved. I am not a theologian by any since of the imagination. I'm but a Christian which God has gifted me to think, watch, observe then act. Along my journey I have watched people come into the "church" only to disappear. "Hey, where did Bob go?" No one knows. The "church" needs revolving doors, sadly enough. But why? I think your presentation answered the second part of my equation. The church has failed to follow the simplest instruction of Christ to go out and make disciples. Second, modern theology is promising a God of love. Granted, God loves us so much he died for us! He gave up His life so we would not spend eternity in the Godless abyss of hell. However, God is a God of judgment and if western theology won't condemn sin, then God will turn his back on America. If God will turn His back on Israel then He will do the same to America. Therefore, we need to get back to basics of the "Law." As Christians we live under grace, but he rest of the world is still judged according to the law. Just as Paul's preaching to the Aristocracy in Greece was deemed nonsense, until he took them back to Genesis--which produced converts, we too are witnessing to the "Greeks." We must make people realize sin-is-sin and God requires justice. Therefore, I sense if Christendom will get back to basis and shake off the "name-it-and-claim- it" theology, if we'll lose the "feel good" theology and embrace sin-is-sin and God demands justice theology then God will once again empower Christendom. Secondly, once these converts are reached we must disciple them until they become mature Christians and learn to duplicate the process. Whoa! What a task. What a God sized task! But, we can reach one at a time and if we teach each-one-to-reach-one then we can start the revivals that swept Europe and America under Spurgeon, D.L. Moody and Billy Sunday. I am wanting to go to Tempe with you. This coming Saturday may be an option. There is a good possibility that I may get transferred to KC, MO in the near future. I'll just have to learn to champion "The Way of the Master" if I do. Regardless, I will continue to pray for God to work on my heart as I schedule time in Tempe and learn from you. Ashley, F Patricia K. - 8/26/2007I had an incredible discussion with a plumber yesterday. We sat at the table for at least an hour discussing our faith. He knows the Lord, but stays in the Catholic church. I would have given anything to have you here with us as he could rebut everything I said quite successfully. He doesn't believe in the leadership of the church, but does believe in the communion aspect and Mary and the saints. Talk about a devote Catholic -- this guy had me going. I gave him the Way of the Master web site and the track with the road kill still in the road. He promised to read it and we are going to try to keep in touch. He gave me his number and he took mine.
Had it not been for the Way of The Master Seminar we attended last week, I know I would have not been as open. I am gaining confidence as this was the third major encounter I had in the last two days. Thanks for your encouragement and enthusiasm and the teaching you have imparted, to spread the word of Jesus. Thanks for all you do for His kingdom, Pat Vina R - 6/9/2007I enjoyed the seminar very much. I've been thinking I don't want to be a useless Christian anymore. I don't want to be idle and isolated. I want to be used and molded by God, I have been praying for the opportunity to learn. I usually leave church when church is over and not even socialize, besides we really didn't have the opportunity.(until we came to Living Streams Church) My problem was that I didn't care, I didn't want open up, and I didn't care what they thought of me: all because of my red glassy eyes from smoking weed. Through time I noticed, some Christians loved me as a I was, and some gave me that look of disapproval, like I shouldn't be in church. Those who loved me drew me to want be a better person, and I decided to be a better example to my son. I know he's watching me and he tells me "you say you're Christian but you do this and that. You're not going to Heaven." I know I was ignoring him and listening to the lies like do your own thing, and you don't need those people anyway. I've been listening to KPXQ1360am station everyday at work for the last year, and watching Charles Stanley, John Hagee, and Jesse Duplantis. I'm drawn to the love of Christ. I don't want to continue on this path of destruction and stupidity which is hell.
On my way home from Tempe Saturday night, I stopped at Whataburger and gave a tip with a track from the sample pack. Then at Wendy's I left one with the guy taking money, and the guy giving food. I had to get some chicken nuggets for my son, & the burger was for me. Thank you Tom for listening to God's calling. Thanks to Kirk and Ray. What a blessing!!! Vina, R David W. School TeacherAny way that gets people to know Jesus as Lord and Savior is ok with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as I am concerned, this is another tool in my bag and like different methods of teaching a student how to play an instrument, the more effective you will be in the long run. Nothing works all the time and people feel comfortable with different methods. Something may work very well with someone and not with someone else. It's all about saving souls. Like you say it's the way of the Master to point out our sins and the promise of God to give us a way out, through the blood of Jesus on the cross. How can this be rejected? Why? You say, so called believers...this is a growing concern of me and what I hear from so many Christians.
I plan on using this method and also explaining what God said. I know scripture and live by it. Most of people don't even know scripture, never mind feel comfortable sharing it with others! I study in Hebrew so I can be effective with Jews, just another tool in the bag! You know Tom, no matter what you do in the name of the Lord, you will be rejected. What keeps me going is...Jesus was perfect and they crucified Him. What can we possibly expect from manking?! He died for me. The least I can do for Him is put my life in His hands and serve Him. I think people reject this method and evangelizing in general because they don't want to do it. They feel UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT....awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Too bad! Get a life. Jesus gave you your life, now give Him your time! Just let me know what I can do for you. You have done a lot for me and so many others. Again, my dear friend and brother, thanks for what you do. Please say hi to Catherine, your lovely wife. Your brother in Yeshua, HaMoshiach.Dave. |
John S. - 8/26/2007I Thank the Lord Jesus Christ for your obvious Love and Passion you have for the Lost!!! The way you supported, explained, and presented The Way of the Master evangelism technique was excellent!
Nancy and I do evangelism in a Local Park where there are homeless and drug addicts; However, the local people who enjoy the park we haven't been able to share the Lord's Story with, yet; However, The Way of The Master Evangelism technique, I feel in my spirit, will be the way to reach ALL the LOST!!! We Thank-you for your Godly work; Especially now In The Last Days before the Rapture!!! Sincerely, John & Nancy Kathy S. - 8/26/2007After the seminar and then going on the street I really became aware of the lost souls just wandering around Tempe. Other times when I have been to Tempe I saw the people but the other night I really SAW them and how lost they were just walking aimlessly up and down the street searching for something that would make an impression on their lives, some answer to their feeling of uselessness or emptiness. That one young man you talked to will have the memory of the questions you asked and may be the beginning of his heart being stirred up and pricked...only God knows for sure! At least his night will have been memorable! Thanks for the experience!
Kathy, S Linda T. - 8/26/2007I have been wanting to get back into a ministry for some time now and also have had a huge desire to completely change my career to one that is in direct contact with the public and helping them in some way. I have also had a big desire to go back to school and get my masters in Theology or Divinity. In my mind, I want to accomplish one thing at a time, i.e., find a job, get back into shape, go back to school online, get more involved in church, join a ministry, etc. Notice that finding a ministry was listed last. I think god is trying to make necessary changes in me. Thank you for the opportunity that you have given me. I needed what I experienced on Saturday. I have been wanting to do gods work again, but do it better, make new friends, and be around other 'bible believing' people. I would like to grow and stay in touch. In answer to your question, my desire is to come back and maybe bring my almost 9 year old daughter, so, Saturday gave me encouragement and hope. I saw a group of friends together on Saturday encouraging each other. You both are a blessing to everyone.
God bless you, Linda, T Michelle C. - 8/26/2007Hi Tom and
Catherine - Thanks for the web site info. Also thank you for your time in teaching us - "the Way of the Master" - I found it to be a rewarding evening. I will send you info and phone numbers that I think will be helpful to you when on Mill Ave, when I have chance - I plan to do it by Friday. Take care, Michelle, C. Doug & Ann - 8/26/2007Just a note to let you know that Ann and I very much appreciated attending your seminar. We really liked it and what we felt we learned. You really brought things to light about witnessing to people and how to be effective in today’s world. I have watched the program on TBN about "The Way Of The Master", but did not see things so well and understand the effectiveness of the methodology in the witnessing. We feel the understanding of God and his wisdom in this is very profound. I cannot think of any better way to avoid arguments and intellectual debates that take away from the true message of the Gospel, which is what I see this really focuses on, and what Jesus commanded of us. You guys are bringing the message to others, back to the basics of God. What a great glory. We look forward to attending again and joining you on the streets of Tempe. We feel strongly in our spirits that Jesus is with you in this adventure.
God Bless, Doug and Ann Seinna TYour energy, enthusiasm, and light are very encouraging! I’m not sure that I’m ready to be a sower in such a public way, as at this point I’m attempting to ‘spread seeds’ in my personal (friends/family) and professional life, which was why I attended your seminar.
I also wanted to let you know that the refresher course on the Law (10 Commandments) at the beginning of the workshop has helped me to be more aware of my own transgressions on a regular basis, and I’m trying to keep that message at the forefront of my daily thoughts in an effort to a more obedient child of God. Kindly, Siena Pat R.Tom, you did an awesome job -- your boldness and candor is very refreshing. I have been listening carefully to what I heard in church, Sunday school and small group yesterday to compare it with what you shared with us. It is amazing that no one really talks about sin. Only faith. But, like you said, "Faith in what?". And, what does repentance mean? I don't think the man on the street has a clue. I believe that word needs to be more clearly defined to those we talk to. I am looking forward to going out with you to see the response of people to "The Way of the Master" method. Catherine thank you for your support of Tom and your participation in the class. And, thanks to the others for the testimonies and goodies.
In Him, Pat Stephanie P.I was inspired about a year ago by Way of the Master when my Mom and I watched Kirk and Ray share the gospel on TBN. We both agreed this was amazing and a great way to engage people in conversation. A few weeks ago I met a co-worker and she invited me to a seminar in Phoenix for Way of the Master-- I agreed to come and listen. WOW, watching the videos of both Ray and Kirk ask the simple questions that engage people in their own righteousness really opened my eyes to this opportunity. They make it look so simple with the opening question-- Do you think you are a good person? I left the seminar thanking God for inspiring me and asked Him to equip me with an understanding and knowledge and confidence to move forward and study this material. With all my heart I want to share this with family and friends, co-workers, strangers anyone who God puts in my path. On the way home to Spokane, WA on the plane I engaged in conversation with a Mother who was traveling with her family who professed she was a Christian. I went through the 3 questions-- it was easy I did it! I felt like a soldier for Christ and it was an amazing feeling. I look forward to disciplining myself to learn with open eyes and ears this Way of the Master. In my own personal walk I am daily convicted by the Holy Spirit when I am in the wrong. I know this will help me through my struggles as now I will daily look at the Ten Commandments as a different convicting book of the Law!!!

BeauI suppose a seminar like yours has been successful if it inspires godly change in its participants. If this is so, then the seminar was a smashing success from my perspective.
I enjoyed the sessions as well as the opportunity to witness with a group of experienced evangelists down at Mill Avenue. In fact, I believe I am now more excited about sharing my faith than I have been in quite some time. I have shared my faith more in the past five days than in the prior five months. God bless and keep up the great work. Beau Alan H. Before The Way of the Masters I shared the Good News rarely, mainly because I was not sure how and I feared rejection.
I had a so called Christian friend that did not go to church who I wanted to share with but had not idea how to approach a 'Christian'. After The Way of the Masters course I learned God directed use to share so I now fear NOT SHARING I now can share with anyone (strangers, friends maybe Christians) and without offending anyone. I have even had someone who did not want the seed I planted shake my hand for talking to him. The Way of the Master program gave me scripture from the Bible to use (The Ten Commandments) Psalm 19:7 says we should use this as does Romans 3:19-20. I learned this too from The Way of the Master. It is now a joy to share the Good News! Alan Heflich Catherine FI was just a bystander in the 1st Seed Sower class helping you with your students. Just before the 2nd Seed Sower class started we attended Class that was being taught by one of the Pastors at our church. I really enjoyed that class because we could interact with him. It WAS very frustrating though. Our views didn't match. Remember how he called our table of five the "repentance table" because he was teaching that all you have to do is believe in Jesus to be saved? . So does he think Satan is a believer? (You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.) (James 2:19)
Maybe when that Pastor said to you that, “God was going to bring you down”, my first thought was that Satan was talking to you. Maybe he thinks he’s God because he’s the one that wants Ray Comfort’s DVD’s taken out of your teaching. When the Pastor showed the Power Point document on Justification & Sanctification, I went away from his class not wanting to be a wishy-washy Christian. The next day I was looking for The Way of the Master Foundation Course Study Guide, Program #3, as I had become more involved with Ray’s teaching. It’s called The Motive of the Sinner, and talks about having a Gethsemane experience - "Not my will, but Your will be done." I wanted to clearly give my will to God. In the Pastor's class when we were to study the Parable of the Sower, Luke 8:4-15, God made it VERY CLEAR to me that the 4th seed was the only believer. I went to the Pastor's class and he made a VERY BOLD statement, "Number 1 is not saved, Number 2 is SAVED, Number 3 is SAVED and Number 4 is SAVED." He's wrong! From what he had said thru Class 400, he seems to base his beliefs on the Book of John because it has the word believe 99 times (all 99 times are not necessarily in a positive light. I know what God told me! Jesus also said to the disciples in Mark 4:13. "Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables?” I then gave the Pastor the DVD "True and False Conversion" by Ray Comfort. When I asked him about it, he said he had fallen asleep while watching it and that Ray did not back it up with scripture. I just watched the 1st 10 minutes of it and Ray is very clear on getting what he says clearly from scripture. The Pastor also said he had given it another Pastor who in turn gave it to another Pastor to do a report. After several weeks you were told that they couldn’t find the DVD and when they did not one of them had listened or made a comment on it. We have tried to get the people in charge to come to at least one of our classes or the 1/2-day Seminar so they could get an overview of what we do. Now that this Pastor asked another Pastor to take away Ray Comforts DVD’s they’re finally interested, but in a negative way. It’s amazing, that this Pastor can teach a false message, but you can’t teach the truth. I receive a Daily Devotion from Charles Stanley. He seemed to be on the same page I was about the Parable of the Sower. I replied to Dr Stanley’s e-mail explaining my situation with the Pastor. I received a letter from Allen, Ministry Communication at InTouch Ministries. His letter stated that regarding the Parable of the Sower and the Seed (Matthew 13) that “We would agree that the 4th group is the only group that truly received the Word and had an “abiding result” which produced fruit. The other three groups had no abiding result and produced no fruit.” They also were happy to learn that you were involved with the evangelizing program, “The Way of the Master”. They stated “We trust God will use him in a mighty way to lead others to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” That is exactly what has happened! They also sent me Charles Stanley’s Sermon, entitled “How Do You Listen to God’s Word?” which also verify’s my belief in the Parable of the Sower that #4 is the only one truly saved. Based on what InTouch Ministry is saying, as a well known, well respected pastor who’s even excited about “The Way of the Master’s” method BY Ray Comfort and then our Pastor is saying that Ray is a false teacher. Then who is really the false teacher? Since I became a Christian, Jan 15th 1990 at this church, I have never shared my faith with anyone, I didn't even tell my family when you and I got baptized in '97 (not that I didn't want to). Then came “The Way of the Master”. I am proud to say that has changed. The joy on peoples faces, when you take the time to touch there hearts, even if it's just handing them a tract is priceless. I am so thankful to God for opening up my heart and giving me a tool thru “The Way of the Master” for His glory. God chooses those who will be with Him. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for converting anyone. THAT'S GOD JOB. John 6:37 "All that the Father gives me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me, I will certainly not cast out." NASB My only job is to point people to the Law to help them clearly understand WHY they need a Savior. The rest is up to God. Catherine F. JoyI began watching The Way of the Master on television 2 1/2 years ago. I was instantly caught up in the simplicity and sound Biblical truth of this evangelism method, and I thought, "I can do this!!!" I realized that to be effective, I'd need to learn the WDJD steps, supporting Scripture, and get some tracts, and learn how to use them. In June of 2006, I attended the Saturday seminar program, and my life, and my witnessing life, have never been the same.
What did I do for witnessing between 2004 and 2006? Very little, I'm ashamed to say. I struggled. I was frustrated. I just couldn't seem to open my mouth and share my heart with unbelievers the way I knew God commanded me to, and when I did speak up, I wasn't effective. I worried about offending someone, or worse, not having just the right Bible verse to challenge their objections I ended up laying in a supply of "The 4 Spiritual Laws" tracts, and begging my friends to read them. I now realize it was all about me and how I was or, more likely, wasn't going to get someone to pray the sinner's prayer. The Way of the Master evangelizing method has changed me personally, deep in my heart, and changed my witness. I now have such deep love, the love of Christ, for the lost. Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Because nothing is more important than one's salvation, I'm now so concerned about the eternal destiny of literally everyone, my family, my friends, and each person the Lord brings into my life. Now, I do not hesitate to speak up, remembering always that "The Law is perfect, converting the soul." PS 19:7. I'm simply sowing the seed in love, and God is doing the rest. I've never had so much fun nor felt such genuine joy sharing my faith and reaching out to the perishing. The Glory belongs to the Lord! I thank and praise Him always for He has made me glad! Sincerely, Joy Preston Tammy Z.Hi, my name is Tammy Zapata, and I enjoyed attending the 1 day seminar put on by Tom Fusco, his wife and friends. I am still selecting various tracts
I was given to send to relatives of mine that do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Many are so creative, you'll want to send them to your christian friends too and they can pass them on. |
A Changed Heart...Check out this hand-written letter about a changed heart:
Carla P.I have been a Christian since I was a child. The people that I associate with know that and they would always come to me if they had questions about Christianity. In the office, I wouldn't openly share my faith partly because I was never convicted to do that, and partly because being the manager, I didn't feel it was appropriate for me to do that. But people would talk to me about things privately and I was open about my faith. One day a friend and co-worker came to me and told me that she had been "saved."
I told her I thought that was great. But she was confused because she said I didn't seem really excited. I felt bad and I told her I knew that I should be excited, but that I had seen a lot of people "get saved" but then eventually go back to their old ways. I told her I didn't know why, but that it happens a lot. I have lost touch with her now, and I sure wish I could find her again. Because now I know exactly why that happens, and I sure wish I could tell her... The first time I caught a glimpse of The Way of the Master on TV while channel flipping, I was in awe of this elegant and beautiful concept. I hadn't heard this kind of pure truth in church for a long, long, time. What struck me the most, is that the people Kirk and Ray were talking to didn't know about Jesus and what he did. I couldn't believe that people living in America actually didn't know stuff I had been taught since early childhood. Of course this convicted me to start sharing my faith more, passing out tracts, and learning what to say. I started reading some of Ray Comfort's books and became a huge fan. My favorite book was "Out of the Comfort Zone." My friend and I bought a case of those and gave them away for Christmas gifts. I really got excited when The Way of the Master Radio came on the air in January. I listen everyday while working in my cubicle. Getting that for 2 hours a day really has boosted my abilities to "swing from the natural to the spiritual" because lots of stuff in everyday conversation reminds me of things I heard on the radio. In May, I was fortuate enough to go to New York with one the the Boot Camps. That was an awesome experience and I am changed forever. (I won't go into a detail, because I know that would take too long...I have a 15 page document that I made detailing that trip, I can email it if anyone is interested in reading it). This summer, my family went with my good friend (and fellow WOTM fan) and her family to Huntington beach to go boogie boarding and catch a little bit of Ray Comfort's speaking. She was very happy to get to meet him. It is really great to have a close friend who is as big of a WOTM fan as I am because it is very disheartening that more of my "Christian" friends don't share our enthusiasm. I can't understand it, but I think they call it "club frustration." I will continue to pray for my pastor and the elders to open their eyes. Carla Pauley Gilbert, Arizona Derik B.I am appreciative to you for the invitation that I received to attend the Way of the Master class. It certainly changed my out look personally regarding the role that this style of ministry plays in reaching lost souls for Christ. I have to admit that prior to attending the Way of the Master class I had pre-conceived notions pertaining to anyone that would partake in handing out Christian tracts, or participate in what I in the past have categorized as mega-phone ministry. I have always held the belief that our Lord and Savior can and will reach the lost through all means that He deems necessary. After attending the Way of the Master class I realized that this ministry is definitely one of those way's. I believe that this class has caused me get outside of the box in terms of how I now approach people that I come across daily. I am thankful for the boldness that I was challenged in through this class. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to reach a new level of urgency and Boldness in there faith walk. This class reminded me of my purpose here on earth, and that simply is; Serving the Lord in all that I do taking as many people with me before my earthly body expires. Thank you for this opportunity.
Derik Basl HeatherI had been baptized a Christian in 2003. Since then, I have spent a lot of time reading God’s word and learning about the history of the bible. A couple times I saw The Way of the Master program on t.v. We started watching the episodes with our small group during our weekly bible study. It was interesting to watch Ray and Kirk approach people on the street and share the gospel with them.
Then I read The Way of the Master and Out of the Comfort Zone books by Ray Comfort. That is when my realization began of what a relationship with Christ really means. I also understood how the “modern gospel” is so damaging. So many people are given the impression that once you become a Christian, your life will be wonderful, and that is just not biblical. Once I started listening to The Way of the Master Radio show, I understood not only the gravity of my sin, but the reality of what Christ’s death on the cross meant for me and all Christians. What an amazing gift God has given us! Listening to the hosts witness to people has given me confidence in my own ability to share the gospel. I feel equipped to witness to others and give them a biblical account of what salvation means. I never imagined myself being brave enough to hand out gospel tracks on a street corner, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, I have been able to do that. Also, listening to people call in to the program has been so uplifting. It makes me feel less isolated. The websites, the School of Biblical Evangelism, the radio show, the t.v. show, and the books have made such a difference in my Christian walk and my relationship with Christ that I can’t even fully express the peace and joy I feel. The comfort of knowing where I’ll spend eternity, the importance of sharing the gospel, growing in holiness, and of bringing my children and family to Christ have become foremost in my mind thanks to the WOTM ministries. Heather Ramirez Rich B.I’m not sure what I can say to help people understand the power of this sound doctrine. For anyone with an open mind to Christ and His power to change people by their own conviction this is unmistakable and undeniable sound Ten Commandment Doctrine. For someone that was sediment in his philosophy of, “walk the walk and talk the talk” only when necessary, the way of the Master opened my eyes to what simple conversation of the 10 commandments can do. I haven’t mastered His way yet, but the knowledge of how to approach people in a non-confronting way about sound biblical principles is imbedded in my spirit and as I practice more I know I can plant seeds of glory to potentially lost soles.
I’m ashamed at the direction SBC is heading and I think the pastoral group has lost their way. I don’t know where the blinders came from but for what ever reason they have limited their focus to foreign ministry and family ministry. The singles department at SBC is abominable, especially for the 30-40 age groups. The men’s ministry seems to cater strictly to the 50 and older group and much like your ministry, the crown ministry gets little or no support from the church. Two of the most written about philosophies of the bible seem to go un-notice at SBC; sowing seeds through sound doctrine and controlling one’s finances. What does this say about SBC and its pastoral leaders? This is why I’m focusing my efforts on finding a new church that is more scripturally sound and well rounded; one that is open to the many different ways of reaching out to God’s lost children. I’ll keep you in my prayers, but I don’t see that I’ll be returning to SBC as often as I once was so devoted at doing. I’m sure I’ll return to visit old friends, but I won’t support them financially because I can’t justify in my heart what they stand for. Right now I’m attending CCV and Calvary until I feel God convict me as to which he desires for me to attend permanently. God Bless you Tom and I’ll pray that God will open SBC’s leadership’s eyes so they may return to the basic principles of sowing seeds instead of sowing riches. I would like you to know that the Seed Sower class was the best thing that happened in my life, as well in my husband. It helped both of us to be able to share Christ with many people in Brazil Mission Trip. Thanks be to God, 36 people received Christ and 29 of them got Baptized in the Amazon river, where has thousands of "piranas", but no one got eaten, nor beaten, again thanks be to God, and 5 of those people was my direct family. None of these would be possible if we would not have the training that you & Alan gave us, certainly the videos was amazing because helps you really put the thinks of God in perspective, helps you to really go for not just wait for tomorrow, when tomorrow may not exist, and the person you really love and care about is now in hell, when you we're with that person so long and didn't say anything because you're afraid of offending the person, but afraid for the person's destiny in hell.
Tom thanks, very, very much for taking the time and really loving us by giving us the tools to go and share Christ, follow his commandments.
