Dave A. - 5/21/2011Hi Tom, thanks for the reply. Man it was a great day and the impact of it is still sinking into my being. I had some things I had to attend to after the meeting but Lord willing, I would like to go out and join you the next time. I did the good person test on my wife and she was stumped and so I am excited about the whole thing, kind of like being born again for the second time only better cause we have gained in wisdom over the years.
I enrolled in the WOTM School of Evangelism today and spent the afternoon watchingpast shows of On the Box. The one thing that you mentioned about denying the Lord andhaving Him deny us before the Father in Heaven resonated with me because there havebeen so many missed opportunities over the years that are gone due to my own flesh orpride or whatever it was, I simply did not speak up when I should have. I feel like maybethis is the chance to turn my life around and do the work of losing my life for Christ andfinding it, rather than saving my life and then losing it later. I hope to get to know youand the others on the team more and just be faithful to the call that is placed upon us. Letme know when you plan on going out okay? Take care, Dave. Joe "Deacon" C - 5/21/2011Hello Tom and Catherine,
I was extremely tired on Saturday due to only sleeping about two hours the night before. ( A combination of work and teenage son drama... ) That being said, I came away with a newfound hope that even I, a nobody, can positively impact somebody's life for Christ. I have great respect for anyone who witnesses the Good News of the Gospel on a daily basis. Thank you for your time and efforts. In His Service, Joe "Deacon" | Norm D. - 5/21/2011Thanks Tom for inviting me and giving a wonderful presentation on learning how to share the Gospel with others. I found it most interesting and informative. I believe that being called to be a, “nobody who can share with everybody about somebody who can save anybody”, is a great and marvelous thing!
"Hell's Best Kept Secret" is a powerful tool. Most people walk around not knowing that they may die at any second. I'm 58 and there has been a multitude of people much younger than I die suddenly and many in much better health. It is imperative to get the Gospel out there in front of them and show them that they a dead spiritually and are in danger of eternal torment. Confronting people about their sin by asking unobtrusive questions is key to getting them to understand the horrible situation they are in if they were to stand before a just and holy God. It's a reality check that should definitely make an impact on any rational person, if not immediately, at least later on as the Spirit moves, Lord willing. Thanks for such an insightful presentation and look forward to pounding the streets in search of those whom He's called to repentance and faith in Jesus. Let's continue planting the seeds for His great harvest. Blessings my friend, Norm D. Forest S. - 5/21/2011I really liked the seminar you guys had. I was really interested on how Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron went out on the streets and told people about the LORD JESUS CHRIST. It was so cool I can't wait until I can go on Saturday to Tempe. And also the bag of The Way of the Master ice breakers you gave me. I showed some of my friends what they were and what they are meant for and they liked it as well. Thanks for showing us the videos. See you later. Sincerely, Forest

Luke M. - 10/30/2010Rich's best thing was the initial atmosphere that you set among the participants. He liked the opportunity to try in the evening what we had been taught in the afternoon. Rich mentioned only a couple of reservations. Sherry really liked the seminar, as the concept is already her style. For me, while I want to someday be prepared to meet each person on their own unique level, I am still grateful to be exposed to the style and sequence that Jesus and the prophets used so extensively. I really appreciated the many one-liners and quotes!
Thanks and blessings, -- Luke (for us three) Marcus M. - 6/5/2010I want you to know that I really appreciated the opportunity to come to your class on evangelism. Thank you so much for your dedication and devotion to training individuals in Biblical evangelism.
The Way of the Master “method” of evangelism is not just great because it’s easy to understand and use, it’s also great because it’s Biblical. By using the law in evangelism, a person can more easily understand the justice and wrath of God, so that they can better comprehend the love and mercy of God through Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. Far too many people in the “church” have become complacent when it comes to telling others about Christ; and of those that do, many are unbiblical in their approach. We need to give up the results based, watered-down and unbiblical methods of evangelism. Instead, we need to look to the way in which the Master (Jesus) and His followers told people the Good News. The apathy for the lost in the so-called Church is quite disappointing. We have the cure to the worst disease (a self-inflicted one) in human history; a cure that’s free and sufficient for all. Yet, many “Christians” remain silent and tell no one of the deliverance. In some cases, some will speak and say things that are unbiblical while leaving the hearers with a false sense of security or a misunderstanding of the wrath of God. I believe it is very important to train believers in Biblical evangelism and that is why I very much appreciate what you are doing my friend. God bless, Marcus Mattingly Doug J. - 4/24/2010Thom, thank you so much for the Way of the Master Seminar. That was a true breath of refreshment. I came to one of your seminars two years ago but this time it seemed very different. Two years ago was like an acclimation to the program in discovering what it was about. I knew much of what to expect this time, but so much was new in what was taught and said. In all honesty (I know you said not to say that but what the heck), I felt such a greater power to be able to get involved this time.
Two years ago I felt like it was next to impossible to do what you do but I felt this time a much greater power of confidence. I learned so much in the seminar in watching the videos and asking questions and listening to you talk and share. Saturday night in Tempe I felt a supernatural empowerment as I tried to do as Thom said and get in front of my fear so that my fear would be behind me and then I could stop focusing on my fear and focus on the challenge that God was putting in front of me. This time I was able to approach people and hand out tracts and attempt to engage people in conversation. I even started to have a lot of fun with it. What a feeling of service to Jesus that I felt. Watching Thom and Al at work talking to people was a real learning experience. I feel like I still have a ways to go to learn to interact like Thom or Al but what I took away from the experience was a belief that I really can learn to witness to the lost and reach out to people in the true perspective of what Jesus taught and did on the Cross for us all. I feel there are so very many people who are just waiting for me to reach. Also seeing Jean in action who is a fairly new participant to the program was very inspiring as I got to see how far she has come along in witnessing. I could see she had a bit of a struggle but I also saw the growing bravery and the process if you will of how a person can learn to get involved and reach out to people. I am so very much looking forward to learning and growing more in the program as I feel there is no better service I could be to Jesus than to reach out to people who are perishing. Thanks again with the greatest of sincerity. Doug Johnsen | Johnson J.C. - 6/5/2010I attended the Fusco’s WOTM Course and found it to be professionally presented and most informative and I would recommend this evangelism course to be very informative.
Thank you····jc johnston † Johnsen D. - 6/5/2010Thanks Thom. The seminar was truly enriching. I felt I did get more out of it. I caught a few things that perhaps I did not catch so much before. As state, “repetition is the mother of learning.” I do feel that every time I repeat something I do get more out of it. I know the experts say that we only retain a certain percentage of what we learn. I feel that the more I repeat something I do get some new things out of it each time. I feel this time I gained a greater understanding of the Way of the Master program and a greater retention of what to say to people and how to say it. As it seems to me that Satan has been working very hard in America in recent years and worldwide as well, to take the Ten Commandments away from people and get them to forget about them. Why I ask of God is this and I feel much in my spirit that this is very much what has been missing in today’s evangelism and witnessing to people. God is saving a special blessing to anyone who will learn the Ten Commandments and teach them to others in showing the importance of realizing the dangers and harm of sin. Jesus himself so often spoke of the dangers of sin, such as when he healed the paralyzed man at the pool of Siloam and later found the man and told him to go and sin no more or worse things may happen to him. Marcus kept trying to get me up with the mic and talk of the Ten Commandments which I have now committed to memory and in order. I almost got up but still chickened out.
I believe next time I will be ready. I really feel God moving in me in The Way of the Master way. I did finally speak for the first time with a girl who stopped to see what I had to say. I did take her thru the good person test and she admitted she was a liar, a thief, and adulterer in her heart and a blasphemer. She even said she has probably broken about all the commandments, except murder although she admitted to hating in her heart. I thought I did pretty well, but I have been practicing a lot about taking people thru the good person test and when she became so easy in that and she said that she has accepted Jesus into her heart and she is redeemed I am afraid I got stumped about where to go after that. I can at least see even more now how I need to work on learning to use scripture to witness more in depth as she seemed to believe that her sins were covered by the blood of Jesus therefore her sins were no big deal anymore. Anyway I feel I am growing and learning and look very forward to getting involved all the more with the program. I look forward to next Saturday in Tempe. I don't know if I am supposed to but I am having a lot of fun with this. I so much want to help others and Mill Ave seems to show lots of opportunities. I even went out to IHOP at 1 am with Marcus, Walter and Tiffany I think her name was, and had some good fellowship with them. Thanks again so much Thom for your passion to be involved and serve the Lord as you do. God Bless, Doug Christa J. - 1/23/2010Tom,
I want to say thanks again for everything you've done. It was such a learning experience for me. I will never forget my first time out there. I will for sure do it again... Have a blessed week, Christa James A. - 1/23/2010I enjoyed Tom, nice job.
Jean D. - 1/23/2010Dear Tom and Catherine,
I would like to take the time to thank you for the privilege for me and my kids to attend your class. I learned even more this time and the love you and Catherine have for people is amazing. I am so glad I came and want to continue to learn so that the Lord will be able to use me. Thank you also for the Gospel tracks and the handout on How to Witness. Also for the food!! Thanks so much. Your website is great!! Also are you going out tonight? I would like to go but want to meet where you park. Thanks so much, Jean, Josh & Ariel |
Kevin & Vivi - 1/23/2010
Hello Tom:
My fiancée Vivi and I had an excellent time at the seminar, and an even better time witnessing with you at Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona. Not only was the seminar a great source of instruction, encouragement, and strength, but also a wonderful time of fellowship; there was a genuine care, unity, and love between these believers.
More precisely, I felt like I was really a part of a Body of believers (Church) which was ready to do the real work which its Head (Jesus Christ) has commanded to be done. Your teachings on evangelism were biblical and easy to understand. I also appreciate your other teachings, like: how not to argue; how to internalize a truth to better remember it and apply it; and how to stay honest while being loving.
I really appreciate this service which you offer, and I pray that God blesses your ministry to bring many people to find faith in God. Amen.
We love you and hope to see you again soon.
In Christ: Kevin and Vivi.

Andres - 10/24/2009Thanks so much for allowing me to see what you do and how you do it. Thanks for sharing your thought, ideas and being an open person about some things that have happened to you. Thanks for your guidance, encouragement, and leadership.
God Bless. Andres Jeff, Mary, Hannah, and Petra - 8/26/2009
We’ve taken EE and XEE and found this presentation of the gospel and accompanying materials to be superior.
Jason W. - 10/15/2008I found the Way of the Master one-day seminar a great introduction into evangelism and why using God's law to show the sinfulness of man brings true repentance and dependence upon the saving work of Jesus Christ. This seminar explains why our evangelism efforts must recognize that God's law is perfect and converts the soul! Get over your fears and start spreading the Good News!"
Jason, W Director, SW Regional Operations Center for Bio-Ethical Reform | Christa J. - 10/24/2009Tom, when I first heard about The Way of the Master Method I was a little hesitant because I tend to be very reserved, especially to people I don't know. As I've grown with the Lord, He has given me compassion for people that I've never had before. My problem was that I couldn't find the "right" time and that I was too fearful of what they might say/think of me.
As I watched the video’s it really struck me how many people thought they were going to heaven just because they believe they're a good person. So many people are deceived and NEED the truth told to them. I realized that I can't ultimately change these lost souls, but I need to do my part as a Christian to spread the love of Jesus Christ. This series has made me more knowledgeable in how to teach others about The 10 Commandments and how God is not only a God of love, but a God of justice. We all need to ask our Heavenly Father for forgiveness of our sins and make Him our guide in everything we do. These tracts are perfect icebreakers that really enforce individuals to think about the ultimate question: Am I good enough to go to Heaven? After watching Kirk Cameron, Ray Comfort, and you talk to random people on the street I could see how they were really pondering their status with God and very thankful for taking the time to reach out to them. That would be so awesome if I could also be that person to lead someone to Jesus. TWOTM has changed my life in recognizing the value of people’s salvation and giving me the confidence to lead them to ultimate fulfillment. Thank you for all that you do in glorifying our Lord. Sincerely, Christa |
Ashly F. - 8/26/2007We thoroughly enjoyed the gathering of the brothers and sisters in Christ learning how to more boldly share our faith.
Sunday night and I'm still motivated! I feel that God is showing me how I can do more to directly impact the lost world. I enjoy church and contributing at church. But as Christians we need to do more that so continue to improve our "compound." We need to take more ground! I loved your shirt which said something along the lines of "No more retreats. Move out." That statement couldn't be more true! Nightly before bed Jamie and I pray together, or should I say that I pray and Jamie is the silent prayer. Last night and tonight I was talking out loud to God, during our prayers, that I want to become a "seed sewer" too. We know that is God's will, to be a seed sewer, and when we pray according to God's will it comes to pass. Tom, for the longest time I have been wondering why Christendom seems to be...lacking any spiritual fervor. I've been wondering for 10-15-20 years. My journey with God trying to find an answer has led me to believe that the Hold Spirit is grieved. I am not a theologian by any since of the imagination. I'm but a Christian which God has gifted me to think, watch, observe then act. Along my journey I have watched people come into the "church" only to disappear. "Hey, where did Bob go?" No one knows. The "church" needs revolving doors, sadly enough. But why? I think your presentation answered the second part of my equation. The church has failed to follow the simplest instruction of Christ to go out and make disciples. Second, modern theology is promising a God of love. Granted, God loves us so much he died for us! He gave up His life so we would not spend eternity in the Godless abyss of hell. However, God is a God of judgment and if western theology won't condemn sin, then God will turn his back on America. If God will turn His back on Israel then He will do the same to America. Therefore, we need to get back to basics of the "Law." As Christians we live under grace, but he rest of the world is still judged according to the law. Just as Paul's preaching to the Aristocracy in Greece was deemed nonsense, until he took them back to Genesis--which produced converts, we too are witnessing to the "Greeks." We must make people realize sin-is-sin and God requires justice. Therefore, I sense if Christendom will get back to basis and shake off the "name-it-and-claim- it" theology, if we'll lose the "feel good" theology and embrace sin-is-sin and God demands justice theology then God will once again empower Christendom. Secondly, once these converts are reached we must disciple them until they become mature Christians and learn to duplicate the process. Whoa! What a task. What a God sized task! But, we can reach one at a time and if we teach each-one-to-reach-one then we can start the revivals that swept Europe and America under Spurgeon, D.L. Moody and Billy Sunday. I am wanting to go to Tempe with you. This coming Saturday may be an option. There is a good possibility that I may get transferred to KC, MO in the near future. I'll just have to learn to champion "The Way of the Master" if I do. Regardless, I will continue to pray for God to work on my heart as I schedule time in Tempe and learn from you. Ashley, F Patricia K. - 8/26/2007I had an incredible discussion with a plumber yesterday. We sat at the table for at least an hour discussing our faith. He knows the Lord, but stays in the Catholic church. I would have given anything to have you here with us as he could rebut everything I said quite successfully. He doesn't believe in the leadership of the church, but does believe in the communion aspect and Mary and the saints. Talk about a devote Catholic -- this guy had me going. I gave him the Way of the Master web site and the track with the road kill still in the road. He promised to read it and we are going to try to keep in touch. He gave me his number and he took mine.
Had it not been for the Way of The Master Seminar we attended last week, I know I would have not been as open. I am gaining confidence as this was the third major encounter I had in the last two days. Thanks for your encouragement and enthusiasm and the teaching you have imparted, to spread the word of Jesus. Thanks for all you do for His kingdom, Pat Vina R - 6/9/2007I enjoyed the seminar very much. I've been thinking I don't want to be a useless Christian anymore. I don't want to be idle and isolated. I want to be used and molded by God, I have been praying for the opportunity to learn. I usually leave church when church is over and not even socialize, besides we really didn't have the opportunity.(until we came to Living Streams Church) My problem was that I didn't care, I didn't want open up, and I didn't care what they thought of me: all because of my red glassy eyes from smoking weed. Through time I noticed, some Christians loved me as a I was, and some gave me that look of disapproval, like I shouldn't be in church. Those who loved me drew me to want be a better person, and I decided to be a better example to my son. I know he's watching me and he tells me "you say you're Christian but you do this and that. You're not going to Heaven." I know I was ignoring him and listening to the lies like do your own thing, and you don't need those people anyway. I've been listening to KPXQ1360am station everyday at work for the last year, and watching Charles Stanley, John Hagee, and Jesse Duplantis. I'm drawn to the love of Christ. I don't want to continue on this path of destruction and stupidity which is hell.
On my way home from Tempe Saturday night, I stopped at Whataburger and gave a tip with a track from the sample pack. Then at Wendy's I left one with the guy taking money, and the guy giving food. I had to get some chicken nuggets for my son, & the burger was for me. Thank you Tom for listening to God's calling. Thanks to Kirk and Ray. What a blessing!!! Vina, R David W. School TeacherAny way that gets people to know Jesus as Lord and Savior is ok with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as I am concerned, this is another tool in my bag and like different methods of teaching a student how to play an instrument, the more effective you will be in the long run. Nothing works all the time and people feel comfortable with different methods. Something may work very well with someone and not with someone else. It's all about saving souls. Like you say it's the way of the Master to point out our sins and the promise of God to give us a way out, through the blood of Jesus on the cross. How can this be rejected? Why? You say, so called believers...this is a growing concern of me and what I hear from so many Christians.
I plan on using this method and also explaining what God said. I know scripture and live by it. Most of people don't even know scripture, never mind feel comfortable sharing it with others! I study in Hebrew so I can be effective with Jews, just another tool in the bag! You know Tom, no matter what you do in the name of the Lord, you will be rejected. What keeps me going is...Jesus was perfect and they crucified Him. What can we possibly expect from manking?! He died for me. The least I can do for Him is put my life in His hands and serve Him. I think people reject this method and evangelizing in general because they don't want to do it. They feel UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT....awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Too bad! Get a life. Jesus gave you your life, now give Him your time! Just let me know what I can do for you. You have done a lot for me and so many others. Again, my dear friend and brother, thanks for what you do. Please say hi to Catherine, your lovely wife. Your brother in Yeshua, HaMoshiach.Dave. | John S. - 8/26/2007I Thank the Lord Jesus Christ for your obvious Love and Passion you have for the Lost!!! The way you supported, explained, and presented The Way of the Master evangelism technique was excellent!
Nancy and I do evangelism in a Local Park where there are homeless and drug addicts; However, the local people who enjoy the park we haven't been able to share the Lord's Story with, yet; However, The Way of The Master Evangelism technique, I feel in my spirit, will be the way to reach ALL the LOST!!! We Thank-you for your Godly work; Especially now In The Last Days before the Rapture!!! Sincerely, John & Nancy Kathy S. - 8/26/2007After the seminar and then going on the street I really became aware of the lost souls just wandering around Tempe. Other times when I have been to Tempe I saw the people but the other night I really SAW them and how lost they were just walking aimlessly up and down the street searching for something that would make an impression on their lives, some answer to their feeling of uselessness or emptiness. That one young man you talked to will have the memory of the questions you asked and may be the beginning of his heart being stirred up and pricked...only God knows for sure! At least his night will have been memorable! Thanks for the experience!
Kathy, S Linda T. - 8/26/2007I have been wanting to get back into a ministry for some time now and also have had a huge desire to completely change my career to one that is in direct contact with the public and helping them in some way. I have also had a big desire to go back to school and get my masters in Theology or Divinity. In my mind, I want to accomplish one thing at a time, i.e., find a job, get back into shape, go back to school online, get more involved in church, join a ministry, etc. Notice that finding a ministry was listed last. I think god is trying to make necessary changes in me. Thank you for the opportunity that you have given me. I needed what I experienced on Saturday. I have been wanting to do gods work again, but do it better, make new friends, and be around other 'bible believing' people. I would like to grow and stay in touch. In answer to your question, my desire is to come back and maybe bring my almost 9 year old daughter, so, Saturday gave me encouragement and hope. I saw a group of friends together on Saturday encouraging each other. You both are a blessing to everyone.
God bless you, Linda, T Michelle C. - 8/26/2007Doug & Ann - 8/26/2007Just a note to let you know that Ann and I very much appreciated attending your seminar. We really liked it and what we felt we learned. You really brought things to light about witnessing to people and how to be effective in today’s world. I have watched the program on TBN about "The Way Of The Master", but did not see things so well and understand the effectiveness of the methodology in the witnessing. We feel the understanding of God and his wisdom in this is very profound. I cannot think of any better way to avoid arguments and intellectual debates that take away from the true message of the Gospel, which is what I see this really focuses on, and what Jesus commanded of us. You guys are bringing the message to others, back to the basics of God. What a great glory. We look forward to attending again and joining you on the streets of Tempe. We feel strongly in our spirits that Jesus is with you in this adventure.
God Bless, Doug and Ann Seinna TYour energy, enthusiasm, and light are very encouraging! I’m not sure that I’m ready to be a sower in such a public way, as at this point I’m attempting to ‘spread seeds’ in my personal (friends/family) and professional life, which was why I attended your seminar.
I also wanted to let you know that the refresher course on the Law (10 Commandments) at the beginning of the workshop has helped me to be more aware of my own transgressions on a regular basis, and I’m trying to keep that message at the forefront of my daily thoughts in an effort to a more obedient child of God. Kindly, Siena Pat R.Tom, you did an awesome job -- your boldness and candor is very refreshing. I have been listening carefully to what I heard in church, Sunday school and small group yesterday to compare it with what you shared with us. It is amazing that no one really talks about sin. Only faith. But, like you said, "Faith in what?". And, what does repentance mean? I don't think the man on the street has a clue. I believe that word needs to be more clearly defined to those we talk to. I am looking forward to going out with you to see the response of people to "The Way of the Master" method. Catherine thank you for your support of Tom and your participation in the class. And, thanks to the others for the testimonies and goodies.
In Him, Pat Stephanie P.I was inspired about a year ago by Way of the Master when my Mom and I watched Kirk and Ray share the gospel on TBN. We both agreed this was amazing and a great way to engage people in conversation. A few weeks ago I met a co-worker and she invited me to a seminar in Phoenix for Way of the Master-- I agreed to come and listen. WOW, watching the videos of both Ray and Kirk ask the simple questions that engage people in their own righteousness really opened my eyes to this opportunity. They make it look so simple with the opening question-- Do you think you are a good person? I left the seminar thanking God for inspiring me and asked Him to equip me with an understanding and knowledge and confidence to move forward and study this material. With all my heart I want to share this with family and friends, co-workers, strangers anyone who God puts in my path. On the way home to Spokane, WA on the plane I engaged in conversation with a Mother who was traveling with her family who professed she was a Christian. I went through the 3 questions-- it was easy I did it! I felt like a soldier for Christ and it was an amazing feeling. I look forward to disciplining myself to learn with open eyes and ears this Way of the Master. In my own personal walk I am daily convicted by the Holy Spirit when I am in the wrong. I know this will help me through my struggles as now I will daily look at the Ten Commandments as a different convicting book of the Law!!!

BeauI suppose a seminar like yours has been successful if it inspires godly change in its participants. If this is so, then the seminar was a smashing success from my perspective.
I enjoyed the sessions as well as the opportunity to witness with a group of experienced evangelists down at Mill Avenue. In fact, I believe I am now more excited about sharing my faith than I have been in quite some time. I have shared my faith more in the past five days than in the prior five months. God bless and keep up the great work. Beau Alan H. Before The Way of the Masters I shared the Good News rarely, mainly because I was not sure how and I feared rejection.
I had a so called Christian friend that did not go to church who I wanted to share with but had not idea how to approach a 'Christian'. After The Way of the Masters course I learned God directed use to share so I now fear NOT SHARING I now can share with anyone (strangers, friends maybe Christians) and without offending anyone. I have even had someone who did not want the seed I planted shake my hand for talking to him. The Way of the Master program gave me scripture from the Bible to use (The Ten Commandments) Psalm 19:7 says we should use this as does Romans 3:19-20. I learned this too from The Way of the Master. It is now a joy to share the Good News! Alan Heflich Catharine FI was just a bystander in the 1st Seed Sower class helping you with your students. Just before the 2nd Seed Sower class started we attended Class that was being taught by one of the Pastors at our church. I really enjoyed that class because we could interact with him. It WAS very frustrating though. Our views didn't match. Remember how he called our table of five the "repentance table" because he was teaching that all you have to do is believe in Jesus to be saved? . So does he think Satan is a believer? (You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.) (James 2:19)
Maybe when that Pastor said to you that, “God was going to bring you down”, my first thought was that Satan was talking to you. Maybe he thinks he’s God because he’s the one that wants Ray Comfort’s DVD’s taken out of your teaching. When the Pastor showed the Power Point document on Justification & Sanctification, I went away from his class not wanting to be a wishy-washy Christian. The next day I was looking for The Way of the Master Foundation Course Study Guide, Program #3, as I had become more involved with Ray’s teaching. It’s called The Motive of the Sinner, and talks about having a Gethsemane experience - "Not my will, but Your will be done." I wanted to clearly give my will to God. In the Pastor's class when we were to study the Parable of the Sower, Luke 8:4-15, God made it VERY CLEAR to me that the 4th seed was the only believer. I went to the Pastor's class and he made a VERY BOLD statement, "Number 1 is not saved, Number 2 is SAVED, Number 3 is SAVED and Number 4 is SAVED." He's wrong! From what he had said thru Class 400, he seems to base his beliefs on the Book of John because it has the word believe 99 times (all 99 times are not necessarily in a positive light. I know what God told me! Jesus also said to the disciples in Mark 4:13. "Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables?” I then gave the Pastor the DVD "True and False Conversion" by Ray Comfort. When I asked him about it, he said he had fallen asleep while watching it and that Ray did not back it up with scripture. I just watched the 1st 10 minutes of it and Ray is very clear on getting what he says clearly from scripture. The Pastor also said he had given it another Pastor who in turn gave it to another Pastor to do a report. After several weeks you were told that they couldn’t find the DVD and when they did not one of them had listened or made a comment on it. We have tried to get the people in charge to come to at least one of our classes or the 1/2-day Seminar so they could get an overview of what we do. Now that this Pastor asked another Pastor to take away Ray Comforts DVD’s they’re finally interested, but in a negative way. It’s amazing, that this Pastor can teach a false message, but you can’t teach the truth. I receive a Daily Devotion from Charles Stanley. He seemed to be on the same page I was about the Parable of the Sower. I replied to Dr Stanley’s e-mail explaining my situation with the Pastor. I received a letter from Allen, Ministry Communication at InTouch Ministries. His letter stated that regarding the Parable of the Sower and the Seed (Matthew 13) that “We would agree that the 4th group is the only group that truly received the Word and had an “abiding result” which produced fruit. The other three groups had no abiding result and produced no fruit.” They also were happy to learn that you were involved with the evangelizing program, “The Way of the Master”. They stated “We trust God will use him in a mighty way to lead others to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.” That is exactly what has happened! They also sent me Charles Stanley’s Sermon, entitled “How Do You Listen to God’s Word?” which also verify’s my belief in the Parable of the Sower that #4 is the only one truly saved. Based on what InTouch Ministry is saying, as a well known, well respected pastor who’s even excited about “The Way of the Master’s” method BY Ray Comfort and then our Pastor is saying that Ray is a false teacher. Then who is really the false teacher? Since I became a Christian, Jan 15th 1990 at this church, I have never shared my faith with anyone, I didn't even tell my family when you and I got baptized in '97 (not that I didn't want to). Then came “The Way of the Master”. I am proud to say that has changed. The joy on peoples faces, when you take the time to touch there hearts, even if it's just handing them a tract is priceless. I am so thankful to God for opening up my heart and giving me a tool thru “The Way of the Master” for His glory. God chooses those who will be with Him. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for converting anyone. THAT'S GOD JOB. John 6:37 "All that the Father gives me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me, I will certainly not cast out." NASB My only job is to point people to the Law to help them clearly understand WHY they need a Savior. The rest is up to God. Catharine F. JoyI began watching The Way of the Master on television 2 1/2 years ago. I was instantly caught up in the simplicity and sound Biblical truth of this evangelism method, and I thought, "I can do this!!!" I realized that to be effective, I'd need to learn the WDJD steps, supporting Scripture, and get some tracts, and learn how to use them. In June of 2006, I attended the Saturday seminar program, and my life, and my witnessing life, have never been the same.
What did I do for witnessing between 2004 and 2006? Very little, I'm ashamed to say. I struggled. I was frustrated. I just couldn't seem to open my mouth and share my heart with unbelievers the way I knew God commanded me to, and when I did speak up, I wasn't effective. I worried about offending someone, or worse, not having just the right Bible verse to challenge their objections I ended up laying in a supply of "The 4 Spiritual Laws" tracts, and begging my friends to read them. I now realize it was all about me and how I was or, more likely, wasn't going to get someone to pray the sinner's prayer. The Way of the Master evangelizing method has changed me personally, deep in my heart, and changed my witness. I now have such deep love, the love of Christ, for the lost. Jesus told us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Because nothing is more important than one's salvation, I'm now so concerned about the eternal destiny of literally everyone, my family, my friends, and each person the Lord brings into my life. Now, I do not hesitate to speak up, remembering always that "The Law is perfect, converting the soul." PS 19:7. I'm simply sowing the seed in love, and God is doing the rest. I've never had so much fun nor felt such genuine joy sharing my faith and reaching out to the perishing. The Glory belongs to the Lord! I thank and praise Him always for He has made me glad! Sincerely, Joy Preston Tammy Z.Hi, my name is Tammy Zapata, and I enjoyed attending the 1 day seminar put on by Tom Fusco, his wife and friends. I am still selecting various tracts
I was given to send to relatives of mine that do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Many are so creative, you'll want to send them to your christian friends too and they can pass them on. | A Changed Heart...Check out this hand-written letter about a changed heart:
Carla P.I have been a Christian since I was a child. The people that I associate with know that and they would always come to me if they had questions about Christianity. In the office, I wouldn't openly share my faith partly because I was never convicted to do that, and partly because being the manager, I didn't feel it was appropriate for me to do that. But people would talk to me about things privately and I was open about my faith. One day a friend and co-worker came to me and told me that she had been "saved."
I told her I thought that was great. But she was confused because she said I didn't seem really excited. I felt bad and I told her I knew that I should be excited, but that I had seen a lot of people "get saved" but then eventually go back to their old ways. I told her I didn't know why, but that it happens a lot. I have lost touch with her now, and I sure wish I could find her again. Because now I know exactly why that happens, and I sure wish I could tell her... The first time I caught a glimpse of The Way of the Master on TV while channel flipping, I was in awe of this elegant and beautiful concept. I hadn't heard this kind of pure truth in church for a long, long, time. What struck me the most, is that the people Kirk and Ray were talking to didn't know about Jesus and what he did. I couldn't believe that people living in America actually didn't know stuff I had been taught since early childhood. Of course this convicted me to start sharing my faith more, passing out tracts, and learning what to say. I started reading some of Ray Comfort's books and became a huge fan. My favorite book was "Out of the Comfort Zone." My friend and I bought a case of those and gave them away for Christmas gifts. I really got excited when The Way of the Master Radio came on the air in January. I listen everyday while working in my cubicle. Getting that for 2 hours a day really has boosted my abilities to "swing from the natural to the spiritual" because lots of stuff in everyday conversation reminds me of things I heard on the radio. In May, I was fortuate enough to go to New York with one the the Boot Camps. That was an awesome experience and I am changed forever. (I won't go into a detail, because I know that would take too long...I have a 15 page document that I made detailing that trip, I can email it if anyone is interested in reading it). This summer, my family went with my good friend (and fellow WOTM fan) and her family to Huntington beach to go boogie boarding and catch a little bit of Ray Comfort's speaking. She was very happy to get to meet him. It is really great to have a close friend who is as big of a WOTM fan as I am because it is very disheartening that more of my "Christian" friends don't share our enthusiasm. I can't understand it, but I think they call it "club frustration." I will continue to pray for my pastor and the elders to open their eyes. Carla Pauley Gilbert, Arizona Derik B.I am appreciative to you for the invitation that I received to attend the Way of the Master class. It certainly changed my out look personally regarding the role that this style of ministry plays in reaching lost souls for Christ. I have to admit that prior to attending the Way of the Master class I had pre-conceived notions pertaining to anyone that would partake in handing out Christian tracts, or participate in what I in the past have categorized as mega-phone ministry. I have always held the belief that our Lord and Savior can and will reach the lost through all means that He deems necessary. After attending the Way of the Master class I realized that this ministry is definitely one of those way's. I believe that this class has caused me get outside of the box in terms of how I now approach people that I come across daily. I am thankful for the boldness that I was challenged in through this class. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to reach a new level of urgency and Boldness in there faith walk. This class reminded me of my purpose here on earth, and that simply is; Serving the Lord in all that I do taking as many people with me before my earthly body expires. Thank you for this opportunity.
Derik Basl HeatherI had been baptized a Christian in 2003. Since then, I have spent a lot of time reading God’s word and learning about the history of the bible. A couple times I saw The Way of the Master program on t.v. We started watching the episodes with our small group during our weekly bible study. It was interesting to watch Ray and Kirk approach people on the street and share the gospel with them.
Then I read The Way of the Master and Out of the Comfort Zone books by Ray Comfort. That is when my realization began of what a relationship with Christ really means. I also understood how the “modern gospel” is so damaging. So many people are given the impression that once you become a Christian, your life will be wonderful, and that is just not biblical. Once I started listening to The Way of the Master Radio show, I understood not only the gravity of my sin, but the reality of what Christ’s death on the cross meant for me and all Christians. What an amazing gift God has given us! Listening to the hosts witness to people has given me confidence in my own ability to share the gospel. I feel equipped to witness to others and give them a biblical account of what salvation means. I never imagined myself being brave enough to hand out gospel tracks on a street corner, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, I have been able to do that. Also, listening to people call in to the program has been so uplifting. It makes me feel less isolated. The websites, the School of Biblical Evangelism, the radio show, the t.v. show, and the books have made such a difference in my Christian walk and my relationship with Christ that I can’t even fully express the peace and joy I feel. The comfort of knowing where I’ll spend eternity, the importance of sharing the gospel, growing in holiness, and of bringing my children and family to Christ have become foremost in my mind thanks to the WOTM ministries. Heather Ramirez Rich B.I’m not sure what I can say to help people understand the power of this sound doctrine. For anyone with an open mind to Christ and His power to change people by their own conviction this is unmistakable and undeniable sound Ten Commandment Doctrine. For someone that was sediment in his philosophy of, “walk the walk and talk the talk” only when necessary, the way of the Master opened my eyes to what simple conversation of the 10 commandments can do. I haven’t mastered His way yet, but the knowledge of how to approach people in a non-confronting way about sound biblical principles is imbedded in my spirit and as I practice more I know I can plant seeds of glory to potentially lost soles.
I’m ashamed at the direction SBC is heading and I think the pastoral group has lost their way. I don’t know where the blinders came from but for what ever reason they have limited their focus to foreign ministry and family ministry. The singles department at SBC is abominable, especially for the 30-40 age groups. The men’s ministry seems to cater strictly to the 50 and older group and much like your ministry, the crown ministry gets little or no support from the church. Two of the most written about philosophies of the bible seem to go un-notice at SBC; sowing seeds through sound doctrine and controlling one’s finances. What does this say about SBC and its pastoral leaders? This is why I’m focusing my efforts on finding a new church that is more scripturally sound and well rounded; one that is open to the many different ways of reaching out to God’s lost children. I’ll keep you in my prayers, but I don’t see that I’ll be returning to SBC as often as I once was so devoted at doing. I’m sure I’ll return to visit old friends, but I won’t support them financially because I can’t justify in my heart what they stand for. Right now I’m attending CCV and Calvary until I feel God convict me as to which he desires for me to attend permanently. God Bless you Tom and I’ll pray that God will open SBC’s leadership’s eyes so they may return to the basic principles of sowing seeds instead of sowing riches. I would like you to know that the Seed Sower class was the best thing that happened in my life, as well in my husband. It helped both of us to be able to share Christ with many people in Brazil Mission Trip. Thanks be to God, 36 people received Christ and 29 of them got Baptized in the Amazon river, where has thousands of "piranas", but no one got eaten, nor beaten, again thanks be to God, and 5 of those people was my direct family. None of these would be possible if we would not have the training that you & Alan gave us, certainly the videos was amazing because helps you really put the thinks of God in perspective, helps you to really go for not just wait for tomorrow, when tomorrow may not exist, and the person you really love and care about is now in hell, when you we're with that person so long and didn't say anything because you're afraid of offending the person, but afraid for the person's destiny in hell.
Tom thanks, very, very much for taking the time and really loving us by giving us the tools to go and share Christ, follow his commandments.
